The Atlas portable wheelchair stairlift is designed for transporting individuals using a wheelchair or patient transport device up or down a flight of stairs. It accommodates wheelchairs or transport chairs with seat widths of 16", 18", or 20". This wheelchair lift enables users to remain in their wheelchair, minimizing the need for transfers in and out of the chair during operation. To ensure safety and prevent injury, it is recommended that the operator receives proper training in the stairlift's use and practices ascending and descending stairs without a rider beforehand. The kit includes the Atlas wheelchair stairlift, a battery and charger, as well as an instruction manual.
