The WESCO® Gator Grip® drum grab fork truck mounted drum grab is designed with an automatic grip lock that maintains a secure hold even on rough floor surfaces, preventing the grip from unlocking until the drum is set down. Unlike traditional devices that may allow grips to open and drop the drum, the Gator Grip® features a patent-pending auto-lock mechanism that ensures safe and secure drum transport. This device is compatible with steel, poly, or fiber drums, whether they are open or closed head. The Gator Grip® has a capacity of 1600 lb. per unit and is protected under US Patent No. 6,619,905.
