The Whirlwind Galvanized Box Fans 50" Belt Drive is designed for heavy-duty use and is constructed with 12 gauge wire mesh featuring a hot dipped galvanized finish after welding for enhanced rust resistance. It includes an efficient 1-speed motor enclosed within an 18 gauge galvanized venturi housing, supported by three balanced galvanized steel blades. The enclosed motors are equipped with sealed ball bearings and built-in automatic thermal overload protection. Additional features include isolating poly guard clips that help to minimize vibration and noise, as well as removable mesh screens for straightforward maintenance. The fan is designed with a heavy-duty spring belt tensioner and eccentric locking, pre-lubricated bearings that are rubber mounted to ensure smooth operation and longevity. The unit is UL listed and comes with a 2-year limited warranty. Please note that the horsepower rating is based upon maximum speed/load, and the power cord is not included as the fan must be hardwired by a licensed technician.
