The Precision Lifting Boom is designed to enhance your lifting capabilities by combining the reach of a forklift boom with the precision lifting of a hoist. This portable and compact lifting boom fits standard forklift trucks, providing an economical alternative to overhead or gantry cranes. Its telescopic boom adjusts horizontally in 12-inch increments and features a lifting hook that travels 19 feet when retracted. The system operates via a remote pendant control with a 12-foot cord, and the hoist hook speed averages 7 feet per minute. It is powered by a self-contained 100 amp 12V DC deep cycle battery, eliminating the need for special power requirements, and includes a 25 amp battery charger that recharges the battery in 4 to 5 hours. The jib crane is equipped with a restraining chain with grab hooks for added safety. Constructed from heavy-duty steel with a durable enamel finish, it meets ANSI/ITSDF B56.10-2006, Part III, 7.4.5 standards. The pivoting jib boom crane can be adjusted vertically in five elevations up to 69 inches from the base of the lifting hook above horizontal (31 inches from the base of the boom hook). Note that the fork pocket spacing indicates the maximum usable width between fork pockets, and OSHA requires contacting the manufacturer of your truck for written approval for the use of any fork truck attachments.
