The Telescopic and Pivoting Boom transforms your forklift into a mobile crane, featuring an adjustable telescopic reach of up to 12 feet in 12" increments and vertical adjustments in five elevations, reaching a maximum height of 76" (40 degrees) above horizontal. This portable and compact lifting boom is designed to fit standard forklift trucks and includes a hand pull with a locking T-pin for easy extension, along with a restraining chain equipped with a grab hook for safety. The swivel hooks are designed with safety hook latches, and the unit is constructed from heavy-duty steel with a durable enamel finish. This lifting boom meets ANSI/ITSDF B56.10-2006, Part III, 7.4.5 standards. Load capacities vary by hook position, with a maximum load of 8000 lbs at the 36" and 72" hook positions, 7000 lbs at 84", 5700 lbs at 96", 4800 lbs at 108", 4100 lbs at 120", 3600 lbs at 132", and 3100 lbs at 144". Note that fork pocket spacing defines the maximum usable width between fork pockets, and OSHA mandates obtaining written approval from the forklift manufacturer for any attachments used.
