The Wesco® battery powered counter balanced stacker is designed for use in areas where traditional lift truck straddle legs may obstruct operations, making it ideal for tasks such as positioning dies, feeding materials into machinery, or loading/unloading trucks. Its design allows for close approach to work areas without interference due to the absence of protruding outrigger legs. The stacker is equipped with a proven battery powered hydraulic pump that facilitates the lifting and lowering of cargo via a hand-held remote control, enhancing operator safety. Standard features include a maintenance-free 12V battery, a 10 amp battery charger, a voltmeter, and a keyed on/off switch, with the ability to operate on AC current while charging. The electric stacker also includes a floor lock for stationary positioning and a mast safety screen for operator protection. Key features of the powered lift and drive model comprise a high-torque drive motor for effortless forward and reverse movement, ergonomic handle controls for variable speed operation with left or right hand, and an auto-reverse safety belly button switch. The 180° hinged design allows for precise maneuvering in confined spaces, while a spring-loaded mechanism automatically compensates for uneven floors to keep drive wheels in contact with the ground. It is powered by twin maintenance-free batteries that provide energy for both propulsion and lifting. Note that appropriate counter weights (sold separately) are required to achieve the desired lift capacity, and orders may be canceled by the manufacturer if placed without them. A dock is required for delivery. The stacker is covered by a 1 year limited warranty.
