The Fork Extension Rack allows for the installation or removal of fork extensions without leaving the forklift, offering a convenient solution for safely storing fork extensions when not in use. To remove the fork extensions, the operator drives into the storage rack with the forks raised, ensuring the tips align over the elevated bar, then lowers the forks to nest into the channel at the base of the rack and backs the forklift truck out of the heel restraints. The reverse process is followed to install the fork extensions onto the forklift. This rack is constructed from all-welded steel with a durable powder coat finish for long-lasting performance and assembles easily. The minimum fork extension length is 60 inches, though fork extensions are not included. Compliance with OSHA regulations necessitates that operators contact the manufacturer of their forklift for written approval before using any fork truck attachments.
