The manual trash compactor is designed for compacting the contents of 55 gallon drums and is manually operated by a ratcheting mechanism that generates up to 7000 lbs. of compacting force. The ratchet lever retracts the compacting plate and is secured in the "up" position with a locking pin, while the compacting plate direction can be easily adjusted with selector levers. The compactor includes two wheels for tilt-and-roll portability when empty and features rugged steel construction with a durable blue powder coat finish. The unit assembles easily. Note: Drum not included.
