The Wesco® Gator Grip® ergonomic drum lift truck is designed for lifting, transporting, and placing 30, 55, and 85 gallon steel, poly, or fiber drums on pallets and spill platforms. It features a spring-loaded clamp that holds any drum rim 3/16" or higher and works with most drums with locking rings, while the exclusive auto-grip lock prevents drum dropping, even over rough terrain, requiring no direct operator contact with the drum. The unit includes 5" x 2" phenolic swivel casters for easy mobility and a floor lock for stationary positioning. This powered lift and drive drum handler is equipped with a high-torque drive motor providing effortless forward and reverse movement, and an ergonomic handle controls variable speed with either left or right hand, featuring an auto-reverse safety belly button switch. The 180° hinged handle allows precise steering in confined spaces. It is powered by a maintenance-free 12V battery that supplies energy for propulsion and lift, and the system includes a battery charger, voltmeter, and keyed on/off switch. The travel speed is 120 ft./min, and the device lifts the base of a 55 gallon drum 36" from the floor.
