The self-dumping steel hopper features a drop-down ramp and a fold-down front ramp that facilitates the easy loading and unloading of bulk materials. This hopper is equipped with a unique folding front gate that can be lowered for convenient shovel loading or used as a ramp for wheelbarrow loading. The heavily reinforced ramp can be operated by a single individual and is secured in the upright position with twin hand latches. The rugged steel hopper includes a pull-cable for effortless dumping of contents while seated in the forklift, and its low-profile design allows for a full 90° dump angle. The hopper automatically returns to the upright position when lowered to the ground. It features a reinforced formed steel base and precision robotic welds, resulting in an industrial-grade unit (leakproof hoppers are available upon request), along with a heavy-duty safety strap that secures the hopper to the forklift. Fork pockets measure 7"W x 2"H on 11-5/8" centers, and the durable powder coat finish enhances longevity. Note that OSHA requires contacting the manufacturer of your fork truck for written approval regarding the use of any fork truck attachments.
