The self-dumping steel hopper features a drop-down ramp and a fold-down front ramp, enabling easy loading and unloading of bulk materials. It incorporates a unique folding front gate that can be lowered for convenient shovel loading or used as a ramp for wheelbarrow loading. The heavily reinforced ramp can be easily operated by a single individual, and twin hand latches secure the ramp in the upright position. The rugged steel hopper is equipped with a pull-cable for easy dumping of contents while seated in a forklift. With a low-profile design allowing a full 90° dump angle, the hopper automatically returns to the upright position when lowered. The unit boasts a reinforced formed steel base with precision robotic welds, ensuring industrial-grade quality, and leakproof hoppers are available upon request. A heavy-duty safety strap secures the hopper to the forklift, while fork pockets measure 7" W x 2" H on 21-5/8" centers. The durable powder coat finish enhances its longevity. Note that OSHA requires contacting the manufacturer of the fork truck for written approval for the use of any fork truck attachments.
