The self-dumping steel hopper features a drop-down ramp for easy loading and unloading of bulk materials, with a unique folding front gate that can be lowered for shovel loading or utilized as a ramp for wheelbarrow loading. The heavily reinforced ramp can be operated by a single user and is secured in the upright position by twin hand latches. Constructed from rugged steel, the hopper includes a pull-cable for easy dumping of contents while seated in the forklift, and its low-profile design provides a full 90° dump angle, automatically returning to the upright position when lowered to the ground. The reinforced formed steel base and precision robotic welds ensure an industrial-grade unit, and leakproof hoppers are available upon request. A heavy-duty safety strap secures the hopper to the forklift, with fork pockets measuring 7"W x 2"H on 21-5/8" centers, while a durable powder coat finish enhances its longevity. Note that OSHA requires contacting the manufacturer of your fork truck for written approval for the use of any fork truck attachments.
