The SC Preferred™ steel salvage transport overpack drum is designed for DOT compliant shipments, used to overpack leaky, damaged, or non-compliant steel or poly drums, and to safeguard against drum rupture during transport. It can also be used to overpack containers, contain and transport soiled sorbents and hazardous solids, or serve in spill kits for contaminated site clean-up. Constructed of high-quality carbon steel, the drum meets UN design type requirements. It features a yellow body with a multilingual salvage drum logo, and the drum cover includes a bolt securement ring and an EPDM gasket for secure sealing. The package includes the steel salvage drum and cover with securement hardware, ensuring compliance and durability for safe hazardous material transport.
