The Romotech pickup truck storage tank is engineered for hauling water and chemicals using a pickup truck, constructed from FDA approved food grade virgin polyethylene plastic, making it suitable for storing and transporting water in the bed of a full-size pickup truck. The tank is designed to rest between and over the wheel wells, optimizing space, and is safe for transporting water, fertilizer, and spray chemicals with a specific gravity of 1.7 or less, while excluding flammable fuels or volatile hydrocarbons. Made from linear low-density polyethylene (LLDPE), the tank features good abrasion and impact resistance, along with ultraviolet (UV) inhibiting stabilizers for enhanced durability. Key features include four tie-down lugs on the top for secure restraint in the pickup truck bed or on a flat-bed truck, one 12" top fill with cap and lanyard, one 2" drain bung located at the rear accessible from the tailgate, and gallon/liter graduations on the sidewall for easy volume measurement. It is important to note that this tank should never be used for liquids that must be stored in glass containers; however, any liquid permitted to be stored in a plastic container is suitable for this tank.
