The Romotech 550 gallon plastic storage tank (model 82124269) is a round tank equipped with leg supports, specifically designed for the convenient dispensing of chemicals and suitable for storing water as well as most agricultural and industrial chemicals. Constructed from all-virgin, medium-density polyethylene, the tank features ultraviolet (UV) inhibiting stabilizers, ensuring its durability for long-term outdoor use. This material is also FDA approved for potable water storage. The tank can hold liquids with a specific gravity of up to 1.7, and it is recommended for use at a maximum constant operating temperature of 140° F, which aligns with the molded polyethylene specifications. The low profile design enhances safety, while the translucent walls allow for easy visibility of the content level. Each tank is equipped with one 5" fill opening, one 2" drain, and graduated gallon/liter marks for accurate measurement. It is important to note that this tank should not be used for storing any liquid that must only be kept in a glass container; however, any liquid that is approved for storage in a plastic container is suitable for use in this tank.
