The Jet 690017 JTM-2 Vertical Milling Machine features X and Y-axis powerfeeds, powered by a robust 2HP motor operating on 230V and 1-phase power. It is designed with a Meehanite casting that provides rugged stability and precise performance, complemented by a precision bored and honed milling head and large diameter chromed quill. The high precision class 7 spindle bearings, internally cooled spindle head, and heavy-duty spindle motor drive ensure durability and reliability during operation. Additional features include satin chrome finished dials, a three-stage power downfeed with automatic stop, a heavy-duty spindle brake, and precision hardened and ground ways. The machine comes equipped with a precision ground table, adjustable gibs throughout, an internal coolant tank built into the base (coolant pump not included), a tolerance test sheet, a one-shot lubrication system, way covers, a draw bar, and a toolbox with tools.
