The JET JTM-1050 is a precision milling machine that features Meehanite castings and a heavy-duty hardened and ground 10 x 50 table, equipped with high precision class 7 bearings that support the spindle for enhanced stability. The machine includes precision bored and honed milling heads for quality cuts and a three-stage power downfeed with automatic stop for user convenience. Additional attributes comprise chrome lead screws on the X and Y axes, Turcite B on the same axes, and satin chrome finishes on dials. The large diameter quill is chromed, while the spindle head is internally cooled and features a heavy-duty motor drive. It comes with a no fuse breaker power connection, a chrome plated motor shaft with bearing support at the end, and a one-piece quill pinion and shaft. For added functionality, the machine has a heavy-duty spindle brake, locks on all movable surfaces, hardened and ground square vertical knee ways, adjustable gibs throughout, and an internal coolant tank built into the base (coolant pump not included). The kit includes a tolerance test sheet, a one shot lubrication system, way covers, a draw bar, and a toolbox with tools.
