The JET JTM-1050 features Meehanite castings, a heavy-duty hardened and ground 10 x 50 table, and high precision Class 7 precision bearings that support the spindle. It includes precision bored and honed milling heads for quality cuts, a three-stage power downfeed with automatic stop for user convenience, and chrome lead screws on both the X and Y axes. The machine is equipped with a satin chrome finish on the dials, a chromed large diameter quill, and an internally cooled spindle head. Additional features include a no-fuse breaker power connection, a heavy-duty motor drive, a chrome-plated motor shaft with bearing support at the end, and a one-piece quill pinion and shaft. It also boasts a heavy-duty spindle break, locks on all movable surfaces, a hardened and ground square vertical knee, adjustable gibs throughout, and an internal coolant tank built into the base for use with a coolant system (coolant pump not included).
