Constructed using the Meehanite casting process, Jet variable speed milling machines provide consistent and reliable operation. They feature high precision class 7 spindle bearings, a heavy-duty spindle motor drive, and a three-stage power downfeed with an automatic stop, making them user-friendly. The precision bored and honed milling head ensures quality cuts, while the large diameter quill is chromed and the spindle head is internally cooled for enhanced performance. Additional attributes include a one-piece quill pinion and shaft, heavy-duty spindle brake, adjustable gibs throughout, and a chrome-plated motor shaft with lower bearing support. Standard equipment includes a one-shot lubrication system, way covers, a draw bar, and a toolbox with tools.
