The grind chamber is constructed from corrosion-resistant stainless steel, while the mounting system includes a 3/4" rubber mount above the grinding chamber to isolate sound and eliminate vibration, all enclosed in chrome-plated covers for sanitation and appearance. The motor is totally enclosed to protect against moisture, incorporates controlled power airflow for cooling, and includes built-in thermal overload protection. Cutting elements consist of stationary and rotating shredding components made from cast nickel chrome alloy, designed for reverse action grinding to enhance longevity and corrosion resistance. The main bearings utilize double-tapered Timken roller bearings for shock absorption, and the motor is safeguarded by triple lip seals and secondary spring-loaded oil seals to prevent water damage and grease loss.
