Indexing plungers GN 617-NI are standard units designed for a wide range of indexing mechanisms. Available in Type G or GK, these plungers feature threaded ends suited for applications requiring a custom knob or where the spindle connects directly to an operating mechanism. The nylon plastic hand knob offers a maximum heat resistance of 110°C or 230°F. The plungers include a threaded body made from stainless steel (European standard No. 1.4305, American standard 303 series) and a chemically nickel-plated stainless steel plunger pin. The knob is made from matte black glass fiber reinforced nylon plastic and is not removable, while the stainless steel version conforms to European standard No. 1.4305. Additionally, the assembly includes a lock nut made of stainless steel in accordance with DIN 439/ISO 4035.
