GN 717 are a range of low-cost indexing plungers designed for applications requiring small dimensions, though they are not suitable for high precision indexing. The kit includes a threaded body made of steel, zinc-plated, and blue passivated, a plunger pin crafted from stainless steel (European standard No. 1.4305), and a spring made from stainless steel (European standard No. 1.4310). Additionally, it features a pull ring version that is also made of stainless steel (European standard No. 1.4310) and a pull knob version constructed from matte black glass fiber reinforced nylon plastic, which is not removable. The lock nut is made of steel, zinc-plated, and the nylon plastic hand knob offers a maximum heat resistance of 110°C or 230°F.
