The vacuum aspiration kit is designed for the efficient and safe removal of a variety of liquids, including tissue culture media, supernatants, and chemical wastes. It includes a self-contained system featuring a 1.0-gallon polypropylene collection bottle, tubing, and a lightweight vacuum pump that operates on a 110/120V outlet. The chemical and corrosion-resistant collection bottle has a heavy wall construction and a safety release vent to prevent vacuum implosion, making it ideal for fluid collection from tissue and/or cell culture, Petri dishes, plates, flasks, and tubes. The pump operates at a low noise level of 76dB at 1 meter and produces minimal vibration, ensuring a comfortable working environment, whether in a hood or at the bench. Additionally, it features a replaceable hydrophobic filter that self-seals when wet, protecting the pump motor from fluid contamination, while the polypropylene pump housing conveniently doubles as a holder for the collection bottle.
