The vacuum aspiration kit is designed for effortless, continuous vacuum aspiration of various liquids, including tissue culture media, supernatants, and chemical wastes. It connects to a disposable pipette tip, Pasteur pipette, or other suitable tip via flexible collection tubing with dimensions of " ID x " OD, allowing connection to a vacuum source for aspiration from Petri dishes, microtiter plates, flasks, centrifuge tubes, and more. The kit includes a heavy-wall polypropylene collection bottle that is chemical and corrosion-resistant, along with a trap that protects the vacuum source from overflow. All components are housed in a compact epoxy-coated steel frame to conserve workspace. The screw cap on the collection bottle features a safety release vent to prevent vacuum implosion, and the bottle, along with its cap, is autoclavable and designed with UV inhibitors for safe exposure to UV sterilization cycles.
