The wash bottles feature a unique 2-piece valve that prevents pressure build-up of solvents, allowing for venting of volatiles and eliminating solvent drips. Each bottle is pre-printed with the chemical name, formula, National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) Section 704 four-color diamond, health hazards, Chemical Abstract System (CAS) number, and recommendations for protective clothing and equipment. The design includes a wide mouth 53 mm (2") opening for easy refilling, and a polypropylene closure that is leakproof and color-coded for easy identification. The bottles are made of translucent, solvent-resistant LDPE, with specific options such as sodium hypochlorite available in white LDPE for light protection between 230 and 450 nm, and toluene in a red LDPE bottle. The bottles comply with OSHA requirements outlined in Hazard Communication Standard 29 CFR 1910.1200, and custom labeling is available.
