Bel-Art's safety labeled wash bottles are designed with multiple safety features including Department of Transportation (DOT) and National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) codes and symbols, Chemical Abstract Service (CAS) number, protective equipment symbols, and target organ information, enhancing workplace safety. The bottles are easy to read, feature a wide mouth 53 mm (2") opening for effortless refilling, and are made from translucent, LDPE solvent-resistant materials. Specific variations include a white LDPE bottle for sodium hypochlorite to provide light protection between 230 and 450 nm, and a red LDPE bottle for toluene. Each bottle is equipped with a polypropylene closure that ensures a leakproof design and meets OSHA requirements outlined in Hazard Communication Standard 29 CFR 1910.1200.
