A unique, 2-piece valve prevents pressure build-up of solvents within these right-to-know safety-labeled wash bottles, allowing for the venting of volatiles and eliminating solvent drips. Each bottle is pre-printed with the chemical name, formula, National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) Section 704 four-color diamond, health hazards, Chemical Abstract System (CAS) number, and suggested protective clothing and equipment. The valve design eliminates drips and allows dispensing of the wash bottle in either an upright or inverted position. The bottles feature a wide mouth of 53 mm (2") for easy refilling, and a polypropylene closure with a leakproof design, which is color-coded for easy identification. The bottles are made from translucent, LDPE solvent-resistant material, with sodium hypochlorite in white LDPE for light protection between 230 and 450 nm and toluene in red LDPE. These wash bottles provide compliance with OSHA requirements outlined in Hazard Communication Standard 29 CFR 1910.1200, and custom labeling is available.
