The CM Universal Trolley (UT) is designed to fit virtually all Columbus McKinnon brand electric and air chain hoists up to 3 ton capacities, making it a versatile solution for various applications. The trolley features both plain and geared options; the plain trolley allows for manual positioning of the hoist and load, while the geared trolley is ideal for precise positioning, with a standard hand chain drop proportional to a 20-foot lift hoist. It is convertible, allowing plain trolleys equipped with geared track wheels and side plates to be easily converted to geared trolleys by adding a hand geared kit in the field. Built for long life and low maintenance, it includes dual tread wheels that fit tapered or flat beams with permanently lubricated shielded ball bearings. The trolley is easily adjustable to fit popular beam flange widths and features wrap-around side plates for operator safety, along with lugs that enhance security and protect the wheels. Pinned suspension bolts with castle nuts ensure the bolts remain tightened, further increasing operator safety. The zinc-plated bolts, nuts, and washers, along with painted frames, provide corrosion resistance against wear.
