The kit features a magnetic base that accepts test indicators with a dovetail clamping mechanism, allowing for compatibility with dial gauges held by either the 3/8" or 8mm diameter stem or by the lug backing plate. The arm includes three articulating joints that can be locked using a single hand knob for ease of use. Additionally, a rotary knob is provided to switch the natural magnet on or off, ensuring that the precision surfaces and bottom V are securely fastened to the ferrous workpiece or machine table when the rotary knob is in the on position. The magnetic pull is rated at 132 lb / 60kg, and the working range angle is 150°. The magnetic base dimensions are 60x50x55mm, and the entire kit is packaged in a cardboard box.
