The Cylinder Tube Rack is designed to hold twelve cylinders in a vertical position, accommodating diameters ranging from 4.0 to 12.0 inches. Constructed from .125 thick 2.0 x 2.0 square steel tube with a full perimeter welded and sealed design, the rack features grade ASTM A-500 steel. It is finished with a black semi-gloss powder coating that includes UV inhibitors and an electro-deposition base coat. Each rack is topped with smooth, capped HDPE polyethylene and comes with plated steel chain snaps, as well as a #2/0 twist loop plated steel chain with welded links to support the cylinders (two per cylinder station). Floor mounting holes with a .531 inch diameter are included on the lower tube structure, and for seismic installations, S4 rated anchor bolts (3/8 inch diameter by 5 inch long) are recommended but not included. The unit qualifies for seismic zone 4 construction and applications and meets or exceeds NFPA, UFC, OSHA, and CGA standards for the storage of compressed gas cylinders. The dimensions of the rack are 44"W x 50"D x 30"H, with a weight of 308 lbs. It ships via freight with a shipping weight of 362 lbs and shipping dimensions (on pallet) of 60"W x 40"D x 36"H.
