The cylinder tube rack measures 70"W x 50"D x 30"H and has a capacity to hold twenty cylinders in a vertical position, accommodating cylinder diameters from 4.0 to 12.0 inches. It is constructed from .125 thick 2.0 x 2.0 square steel tube and welded to grade ASTM A-500 standards. The full perimeter is welded and sealed at all junction points, and the tops are ground smooth and capped with HDPE polyethylene caps. The rack features a black semi-gloss powder paint finish with UV inhibitors and an electro-deposition base coat. Included are plated steel chain snaps and #2/0 twist loop plated steel chain with welded links, which provide support for the cylinders (two per cylinder station). The lower tube structure includes floor mounting holes with a diameter of .531 inches. For seismic installations, S4 rated anchor bolts of 3/8 inch diameter by 5 inches long are recommended but not included. The units qualify for seismic zone 4 construction and applications and meet or exceed NFPA, UFC, OSHA, and CGA standards for the storage of compressed gas cylinders.
