Dixie Industries skidding tong features a 1" width with a maximum opening of 20 inches and is forged from alloy steel to ensure maximum strength and durability. Designed specifically for tree length logging, the logger tongs have points shaped for easy hooking and unhooking while maintaining a strong hold. The unique design incorporates additional material at stress points, enhancing performance under load. The tong comes with a heat-treated ring that is securely attached by shackles, and it is not intended for overhead lifting—only lifting tongs should be used for that purpose. Finished with a red paint and blue points, this product is made in the U.S.A.
