The kit includes a flush mounted fire door with both anchor straps and mounting holes to facilitate installation. It is insulated and rated by Underwriters Laboratories for a 1.5 hour "B" label in walls and may also be used in a 2 hour fire rated wall assembly. Additionally, it is rated for 3 hours in ceilings by Warnock Hersey. Constructed with a 16 gauge steel frame and a 20 gauge steel welded pan door, the door is filled with 2 inch thick fire rated insulation. The door features automatic closure, is self-latching, and has an interior latch release, ensuring enhanced safety and compliance with fire safety standards.
