The flush-mounted fire door kit includes both anchor straps and mounting holes to facilitate installation. It is insulated and rated by Underwriters Laboratories for a 1.5 hour "B" label in walls and can be utilized in a 2 hour fire-rated wall assembly, while also being rated for 3 hours in ceilings by Warnock Hersey. The construction features a 16 gauge steel frame and a 20 gauge steel, welded pan door, which is filled with 2 inch thick fire-rated insulation. The door comes with automatic closure, is self-latching, and features an interior latch release for ease of use.
