The kit includes a flush-mounted fire door designed for easy installation, featuring both anchor straps and mounting holes. It is insulated and has been rated by Underwriters Laboratories for a 1.5-hour "B" label in walls, while also being suitable for use in a 2-hour fire-rated wall assembly. Furthermore, it has a 3-hour ceiling rating by Warnock Hersey. The construction includes a 16-gauge steel frame and a 20-gauge steel, welded pan door, which is filled with 2-inch thick fire-rated insulation. The door is equipped with an automatic closure, self-latching mechanism, and an interior latch release for enhanced safety and convenience.
