The flush-mounted product features both anchor straps and mounting holes for easy installation. It is insulated and carries a 1.5-hour "B" label rating from Underwriters Laboratories for use in walls, and it can be utilized in a 2-hour fire-rated wall assembly. Additionally, the unit is rated for 3 hours in ceilings by Warnock Hersey. Constructed with a 16-gauge steel frame and a 20-gauge steel welded pan door, the door is filled with 2 inches of fire-rated insulation. It is equipped with an automatic closure, self-latching mechanism, and an interior latch release for added convenience and safety.
