The kit includes a flush-mounted fire-rated door designed with both anchor straps and mounting holes to facilitate installation. It is insulated and rated by Underwriters Laboratories for a 1.5-hour "B" label in walls and can be used in a 2-hour fire-rated wall assembly. Additionally, it is rated for 3 hours in ceilings by Warnock Hersey. The door features a 16 gauge steel frame and a 20 gauge steel, welded pan door, filled with 2-inch thick fire-rated insulation. The door is equipped with automatic closure, is self-latching, and has an interior latch release.
