The kit includes a flush-mounted fire-rated door designed for installation with both anchor straps and mounting holes. It is insulated and certified by Underwriters Laboratories for a 1.5-hour "B" label in walls, and it can also be utilized in a 2-hour fire-rated wall assembly. Additionally, it is rated for 3 hours in ceilings by Warnock Hersey. The construction features a 16-gauge steel frame and a 20-gauge steel welded pan door, which is filled with 2-inch thick fire-rated insulation. The door is equipped with automatic closure, a self-latching mechanism, and an interior latch release for added convenience.
