The flush-mounted fire door kit features both anchor straps and mounting holes to facilitate installation. It is insulated and rated by Underwriters Laboratories for a 1.5 hour "B" label in walls, and is suitable for use in a 2 hour fire rated wall assembly. The door is rated for 3 hours in ceilings by Warnock Hersey. Constructed with a 16 gauge steel frame and a 20 gauge steel welded pan door, it includes a door filled with 2 inch thick fire rated insulation. The door is designed with an automatic closure, is self-latching, and includes an interior latch release for added safety and convenience.
