The flush-mounted unit features both anchor straps and mounting holes to facilitate installation. It is insulated and rated by Underwriters Laboratories for a 1.5 hour "B" label in walls and may be used in a 2 hour fire-rated wall assembly, while earning a 3-hour rating in ceilings by Warnock Hersey. The construction includes a 16 gauge steel frame and a 20 gauge steel welded pan door. The door is filled with 2-inch thick fire-rated insulation and comes equipped with an automatic closure, self-latching mechanism, and an interior latch release for added safety and convenience.
