Karp introduces the MX insulated exterior access door, designed for durability against harsh outdoor conditions. This high-quality door is made of galvanized steel and features a galvanized hinge, ensuring robust construction. The Karp electrostatic rust-inhibitive powder finish provides two layers of protection against corrosion. For enhanced weatherproofing, the door's trim and pan corners are arc-welded and ground smooth, complemented by a closed-cell neoprene gasket and a lift & turn compression latch that guarantees a watertight seal between the door and frame. Additionally, the door is equipped with Styrofoam insulation, which offers excellent resistance to water and water vapor, ensuring the MX insulated access door performs reliably in severe moisture environments.
