The flush-mounted fire door kit includes both anchor straps and mounting holes to facilitate installation. It is insulated and rated by Underwriters Laboratories for a 1.5 hour "B" label in walls, and may be used in a 2 hour fire rated wall assembly. Additionally, it is rated for 3 hours in ceilings by Warnock Hersey. The door features a 16 gauge steel frame and a 20 gauge steel welded pan door, which is filled with 2 inches of thick fire rated insulation. The door is equipped with automatic closure, self-latching capabilities, and an interior latch release.
