The Karp Inc. KRP-150FR fire rated access door is designed for wall and ceiling installations, featuring a paddle handle and dimensions of 18" W x 18" H, with the KRPP1818PH flush mounted design. The door is equipped with both anchor straps and mounting holes to facilitate installation. It is insulated and has been rated by Underwriters Laboratories for a 1.5 hour "B" label in walls, while also being suitable for use in a 2 hour fire rated wall assembly. Additionally, it is rated for 3 hours in ceilings by Warnock Hersey. Constructed with a 16 gauge steel frame and a 20 gauge steel welded pan door, the door is filled with 2 inch thick fire rated insulation. It features automatic closure, self-latching capability, and an interior latch release.
