The Hoffman E1PBX is an extra deep push button enclosure designed to accommodate 30.5-mm and 22.5-mm pushbuttons and switches, featuring additional depth for extra pushbutton contact blocks. It is constructed from 16 or 14 gauge steel, with seams that are continuously welded and ground smooth. The enclosure includes captivated cover screws that thread into sealed wells, a grounding nut in the body, and a bonding provision on the cover. Additionally, it is equipped with an oil-resistant gasket and factory stamped 4-way pushbutton holes. The dimensions of the enclosure are 6.00 x 4.00 x 4.75 in. (152 x 102 x 121 mm), and larger units include an internal detachable hinge that holds the cover open during wiring while allowing for immediate removal. It also comes with external wall-mounting brackets.
