The Hoffman CFM20166 is a Concept™ flush-mount enclosure made of steel with a gray finish, measuring 20.00 x 16.00 x 6.00 inches. Designed for machine control applications, this enclosure features a streamlined style with flush quarter-turn latches and is available in both solid and window single-door and two-door landscape configurations, as well as flush-mount and sloped-top versions for versatile mounting options. The enclosure offers full-width access and simplified panel installation, particularly with its two-door landscape models. Key attributes include construction from 14, 16, or 18 gauge steel, continuously welded seams, corner-formed doors, and easy-to-remove hinge pins equipped with a built-in captivation clip. It incorporates high-torque threadless studs and fasteners on the door, a minimum-width body flange for a 210-degree door opening, and an external formed body flange. Additional specifications include panel mounting studs compatible with optional Concept panels, mounting holes for external wall-mount brackets, hidden hinges, and interchangeable doors that can be removed via clip-style hinge pins. The enclosure is equipped with a seamless foam-in-place gasket, quarter-turn slotted latches, a door alignment device for doors wider than 30 inches, and four hinges for 60-inch-high enclosures. Grounding provisions are provided on the body and door (excluding window-door models), along with a thermoplastic data pocket for the right-hand hinged door on two-door models. The hardware kit consists of panel mounting nuts, panel grounding hardware, and sealing washers, and single-door enclosures feature a three-point latch system when the dimension A is equal to or greater than 42 inches, while window-door enclosures have a clear polycarbonate window flush with the door surface. The mounting frame on flush-mount enclosures extends completely around the enclosure, and two-door enclosures utilize an overlapping door design for enhanced access and also come with a three-point latch system on the right-hand hinged door.
