The Hoffman Atex453816SS61 Zonex™ Hazardous Location Enclosure is designed for use in Zone 1 and Zone 2 applications, compliant with ATEX Directive 94/9/EC and ICE standards, featuring increased safety with Ex E certification. Constructed from Type 316 stainless steel, the enclosure dimensions are 458x382x160 mm, and it includes 3-mm thick welded-on top and bottom wall-mounting brackets. It is important to note that Hoffman's ATEX Ex E enclosures are not suitable for explosion-proof or flame-proof applications, ensuring they meet specific safety requirements for housing electrical components.
