Concept™ enclosures are designed for machine control applications, featuring a sleek style with flush quarter-turn latches and a robust, durable finish. They come in solid or window versions, available as single-door and two-door landscape options, as well as flush-mount and sloped-top designs for versatile application and mounting. The two-door landscape models allow for full-width access and facilitate easy panel installation. The enclosures are constructed from 14, 16, or 18 gauge steel, with seams that are continuously welded and ground smooth. They include corner-formed doors and feature simple hinge pins that are easy to remove and install, equipped with a built-in captivation clip. The design allows for a maximum door opening of 210 degrees, supported by high-torque threadless studs and fasteners on the door, and a minimum-width body flange for enhanced accessibility. External formed body flanges, hidden hinges, and interchangeable doors further contribute to their functionality. Additional features comprise a seamless foam-in-place gasket, quarter-turn slotted latches, door alignment devices for doors wider than 30 inches, and four hinges for 60-inch-high enclosures. Grounding studs on the body and bonding provisions on the door (excluding window-door models) enhance safety. The kit includes mounting studs for optional Concept panels and accessories, mounting holes for external wall-mount brackets, and a hardware kit with panel mounting nuts, grounding hardware, and sealing washers. Single-door enclosures feature a three-point latch system when the width (A) is 42 inches or greater, while window-door models showcase a clear polycarbonate window that is flush with the door surface. The mounting frame on flush-mount enclosures extends completely around the enclosure, and the two-door models provide an overlapping door design with a three-point latch system on the right-hand hinged door, complemented by an illustrated instruction sheet for easy assembly.
