The Hoffman CSD36248 is a Concept™ wall-mount enclosure designed for machine control applications and crafted from steel with a gray finish, measuring 36.00x24.00x8.00 inches. This enclosure features a streamlined styling with flush quarter-turn latches and is available in solid or window single-door, as well as two-door landscape configurations, providing versatility in application and mounting options. The enclosure is constructed from 14, 16, or 18 gauge steel with continuously welded seams that are ground smooth. It includes corner-formed doors equipped with simple, easy-to-remove hinge pins featuring a built-in captivation clip, ensuring easy maintenance. The design allows for a minimum-width body flange to maximize door openings up to 210 degrees and incorporates external formed body flanges. It supports panel mounting studs for optional Concept panels and various accessories, while also providing mounting holes for optional external wall-mount brackets. Features include hidden hinges, interchangeable doors removable by clip-style hinge pins, seamless foam-in-place gaskets, and quarter-turn slotted latches. Additionally, a door alignment device is included for doors wider than 30 inches, with four hinges on 60-inch-high enclosures. The enclosure includes a grounding stud on the body and a bonding provision on the door, excluding window-door models. It comes with provisions for a thermoplastic data pocket on right-hand hinged doors of two-door models, and a hardware kit consisting of panel mounting nuts, panel grounding hardware, and sealing washers. The single-door variants feature a three-point latch system on enclosures where the height is equal to or greater than 42 inches, and the window-door versions have a clear polycarbonate window flush with the door surface. For flush-mount enclosures, a mounting frame that extends completely around the enclosure is provided, while two-door configurations feature an overlapping door design for full-width access. The right-hand hinged door is furnished with a three-point latch system for additional security.
