Concept™ enclosures are designed specifically for machine control applications, featuring a streamlined aesthetic, flush quarter-turn latches, and a robust, durable finish. The enclosures are offered in solid or window single-door and two-door landscape configurations, flush-mount and sloped-top versions, ensuring versatility for various applications and mounting options. The two-door landscape models afford full-width access and facilitate easy panel installation. Key attributes include 14, 16, or 18 gauge steel construction with continuously welded seams and smooth finish, corner-formed doors, and simple hinged designs with easy-to-remove and install hinge pins featuring built-in captivation clips. The design incorporates high-torque threadless studs and fasteners on doors to ensure security, a minimum-width body flange for maximum door opening (210 degrees), and external formed body flanges. Panel mounting studs accommodate optional Concept panels and accessories, while mounting holes in the back of the body allow for optional external wall-mount brackets. The enclosures also include hidden hinges, interchangeable doors that can be easily removed, seamless foam-in-place gaskets, and quarter-turn slotted latches. For wider doors (greater than 30 inches), a door alignment device is present, and 60-in.-high enclosures include four hinges. Other features comprise a grounding stud on the body, bonding provision on the door (except for window-door models), provisions for a thermoplastic data pocket on right-hand hinged doors on two-door models, and a comprehensive hardware kit that includes panel mounting nuts, panel grounding hardware, and sealing washers. Single-door models have a three-point latch system when the enclosure height (A) is equal to or greater than 42 inches, while window-door enclosures are equipped with a clear polycarbonate window flush with the door surface. The mounting frame on flush-mount enclosures extends completely around the enclosure, and two-door models feature an overlapping door design for enhanced access, with a three-point latch system on the right-hand hinged door that includes a flush slotted insert. Additionally, each kit comes with an illustrated instruction sheet.
