Concept™ enclosures are designed for machine control applications, characterized by streamlined styling, flush quarter-turn latches, and a durable finish. The enclosures are available in solid or window single-door and two-door landscape, flush-mount, and sloped-top versions, offering flexibility in application and mounting. Two-door landscape models facilitate full-width access and simplify panel installation. The enclosures are constructed from 14, 16, or 18 gauge steel, with seams that are continuously welded and ground smooth, corner-formed doors, and easily removable hinge pins featuring built-in captivation clips. They include high-torque threadless studs and fasteners on the door, a minimum-width body flange for maximum door opening (210 degrees), external formed body flanges, and panel mounting studs compatible with optional Concept panels and accessories. Additionally, mounting holes are provided for optional external wall-mount brackets, and the enclosures feature hidden hinges, a seamless foam-in-place gasket, quarter-turn slotted latches, and a door alignment device on doors wider than 30 in. Four hinges are included on 60-in.-high enclosures, with grounding studs on the body and bonding provisions on the door (except for window-door models). There are provisions for a thermoplastic data pocket on the right-hand hinged door for two-door models, as well as a hardware kit that contains panel mounting nuts, panel grounding hardware, and sealing washers. Single-door enclosures have a three-point latch system where the height is equal to or greater than 42 in., while window-door enclosures feature a clear polycarbonate window flush with the door surface. The mounting frame on flush-mount enclosures extends entirely around the enclosure, and two-door enclosures boast an overlapping door design for full-width access and a three-point latch system on the right-hand hinged door, complemented by an illustrated instruction sheet.
